MioGroup Strengthens Its Management Team with Three New Hires in Operations and Partnerships

Daniel Casal, Santiago Corral, and Roger Vila: New Appointments at MioGroup Daniel Casal, Santiago Corral, and Roger Vila: New Appointments at MioGroup

MioGroup, a strategic consulting firm specializing in marketing and digital transformation services, has announced the latest additions to the company. They are Daniel Casal, Chief Growth Officer; Santiago Corral, Director of Operations at HMG; and Roger Vilà, COO of MioGroup—three appointments featuring extensive and recognized experience and a strong strategic focus who will contribute their expertise to drive the group’s growth.

Daniel Casal, Chief Growth Officer, studied marketing, advertising, and PDD at IESE; until now, he has served as a partner and CEO of the Yslandia agency. Casal describes this new professional chapter as“an exciting and ambitious project.” Casal is one of the pioneers of digital advertising in Spain. In 1995, he founded Arroba, which specializes in content, social media, and data science, and served as its CEO until its merger in 2019, with two other digital agencies: Drygital and the former Yslandia, which began operating in 2009; the merger of these two agencies gave rise to the current Yslandia.

Santiago Corral, Director of Operations at HMG, a telecommunications engineer with a PDD from IESE, has spent his professional career at multinational companies such as Telefónica, Vodafone, and NTT, using technology to help large companies transform their businesses. Corral has stated that he hopes “ to contribute my experience and expertise in building, transforming, and leading commercial organizations through my ability to inspire, empower, and serve an exceptional team. On a personal level, I am confident that I will enjoy this opportunity for growth and the culture of trust, teamwork, and entrepreneurship at MioGroup “.

For his part, Roger Vilà, COO of MioGroup, holds a degree in Telecommunications Engineering and an MBA, and was responsible for the launch of NTT in Spain in 2001. Over the course of 21 years there, he has held various roles in Operations, Product Management, General Management, and the creation and management of global business units. With a constant focus on cloud technologies and managed services, he emphasized that “ I enjoy helping companies define their strategy, build teams, and design and implement their operations in a way that aligns with that strategy. MioGroup is currently undergoing rapid expansion, and I hope to contribute on this path.”

With these new additions, the group strengthens and complements its solid value proposition and its commitment to growth. Yago Arbeloa, president of MioGroup, has welcomed the team to “Three top-level executives who will help us add value to the company and, by extension, to our customers. We remain committed to going the extra mile, continuing to strengthen our end-to-end service offerings, and leading the way in innovation.” “.

These appointments follow the company’s latest move, in which it launched a share repurchase program to implement a stock award plan for employees and executives covering up to 2% of the current share capital, which will be submitted for approval at the next shareholders’ meeting.

With these moves, the group is taking another step forward in its plan to grow, attract, and retain talent following its latest acquisitions: Datarmony, Artyco, and Dendary. Since listing on the BME Growth stock market less than a year ago—and as proof of this plan’s success—the company reported record revenue of 62.6 million euros at the end of 2021, a 37% increase over the previous fiscal year. In addition, recurring EBITDA increased by 123% compared to fiscal year 2020, rising from 1.3 million euros in 2020 to 2.8 million euros in 2021.
