We are celebrating our first anniversary as a listed company on BME Growth

First Anniversary of MioGroup's Initial Public Offering First Anniversary of MioGroup's Initial Public Offering

BME Growth enables small and medium-sized companies that are expanding to access capital markets. This is particularly critical in Spain, where 99% of companies are SMEs, accounting for 65% of GDP and employing 80% of the labor force. Although market access is not dependent on geographic location or specific sector, in practice, BME Growth is home to a significant number of companies in the technology, biotechnology and healthcare, telecommunications, and renewable energy sectors.
By facilitating access to capital markets and liquidity, BME Growth helps companies compete internationally, which over time enables those with strong performance to move to the main market.

In this regard, BME Growth has played a decisive role—and hopes to continue doing so in the future—in fostering and facilitating the success of our company and other leading Spanish SMEs by providing us with financing, liquidity, and invaluable advice.

Throughout the first year since our initial public offering, MioGroup—which currently has offices in Madrid, Barcelona, Mexico City, Lisbon, and Miami—has achieved numerous business milestones.
Our 2021 year-end figures set a new all-time record for the company, demonstrating our capacity for organic growth. At the same time, over the past twelve months, we have expanded our inorganic growth through the acquisition of three companies, which are currently in the process of being integrated into the Group. These companies, notable for their size and specialization, are Dendary, an Amazon partner specializing in marketplace management; Datarmony, specializing in advanced data scientist and data engineer services; and, most recently, Firma, the brand consulting firm based in Barcelona and Miami, which is committed to a strategy of incorporating differentiated technologies and services that complement our offerings, thereby helping us build a national leader.

In 2022, after one year on BME Growth, MioGroup has been able to access financing instruments beyond those offered by traditional banks, as well as implement strategies to retain and attract talent. Being able to use the financial instruments available to a publicly traded company within these agreements is attractive to businesses and offers a new perspective to current managers.
As proof of our success, since our listing on the BME Growth stock market, we have achieved record results with revenue of 62.6 million euros, a gross margin of nearly 14 million euros—43% higher than the previous fiscal year—and recurring EBITDA of 2.8 million euros, a 120% increase over 2020.
In the words of Mr. Francisco Jiménez-Alfaro, VP of International Development at MioGroup: “Having the company listed on BME is giving us visibility and a reputation that allow us to access a much more attractive market, as well as giving us the opportunity to take further steps in our growth strategy, and, of course, it is helping us attract and hire high-caliber professionals who not only bring a higher level of professionalism to the company but are also assisting us in specific areas, such as preparing for international expansion.”
